Many corporations implement business application systems like Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to automate manual business processes. However, there are times when employees are out of the office in vendor meetings and not able to connect directly to their system. When this happens, they do not have access to essential business data regarding on-going transactions and vendor relationship histories.
The Vendors Journal Snap-In enables more productive meetings by allowing employees to capture all the information needed about a particular vendor, take that information with them, view it and update it, all while remaining offline from the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 system. It does this by capturing the vendor information in a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form that pulls the data from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.
