has chosen, purchased and is
implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Established in 1945, Georgia Nut

GNC will take advantage of a unified,
Microsoft-based platform that is easy to

number of outdated business systems,
which were heavily dependent on manual
data entry. These disparate systems and
manual processes made it difficult for
GNC executives to gather accurate,
real-time data in order to make informed
business decisions. With increasing
customer demands, regulatory compliance
requirements, and revenue goals, the
company wanted a system that would
improve quality control and
profitability, and be flexible enough to
expand with their future strategy plans
and goals. After initial discovery
discussions with Microsoft, Merit
Solutions was recommended to GNC due to

Food ERP Software.
Georgia Nut will use
Microsoft Dynamics AX for
manufacturing, financials, procurement,
Business Intelligence (BI)
/ Reporting, and inventory management.
With Microsoft Dynamics AX, GNC can
manage lot track and trace from
cradle-to-grave, improving raw material
inventory management capabilities
and response times to potential
product recalls. GNC will
also have better reporting and increased
visibility into key performance
indicators, allowing them to analyze
production trends to improve yield,
manufacturing profitability, and
operational efficiency.
