(Wheaton, Illinois) July 11, 2006 - Three new compliance and quality management modules of Microsoft Dynamics GP created by Merit Solutions, a leading Microsoft Development Partner, are now available to firms around the world. These unique management tools (Corrective Action Preventative Action™, Enterprise Quality Management™, and Advanced Serial Management™) are geared for mid-sized firms that use Microsoft Dynamics GP to increase quality while maintaining a highly controlled environment.

Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) is for companies who are required to detect and prevent problems and to ensure that appropriate actions are taken. Observations are captured and tracked electronically through their life cycle to conclusion, including tracking of actions taken by the organization. CAPA ensures that no important issues are dropped, that responsible parties are notified and that the organization can recreate the history of decisions and actions taken to resolve problems and prevent them in the future.

Enterprise Quality Management (EQM) provides the ability define tests, track results and activate controls based on results when used in combination with Advanced Lot Management and Advanced Serial Management. Tests may be attached to important points throughout Dynamics GP including in-process and finished goods materials management.

Advanced Serial Management (ASM) increases control of materials that are tracked by their serial number, and adds control points throughout Dynamics GP that are activated according to the status and expiration date of serial-tracked materials.

Together, these three modules increase the scope of functionality available with Microsoft Dynamics GP for organizations that deal with serious materials management and compliance business process requirements. These modules can be fully implemented within weeks in companies that use the popular Microsoft Dynamics GP system. Used with Microsoft Dynamics GP Audit Trails and Electronic Signatures, these three modules operate in accordance with the requirements of FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
